Do you offer free shipping to the U.S. and Canada?
Yes. Shipping is free to the United States and Canada. For U.S. orders, we pay the applicable import duties, so you won't have duties to pay upon delivery.
How do the flying mobiles move?
Each mobile is carefully balanced so its wings move gently with surrounding airflow. You can also create movement by softly pulling and releasing the hanging string.
Are the mobiles made from real wood?
Yes. Every Sol de Madera mobile is handmade from wood, individually shaped, hand-painted, and carefully balanced by skilled artisans.
Does my mobile arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Each mobile arrives assembled and ready to display with an adjustable hanging string and the hardware needed to hang it from the ceiling.
Where are Sol de Madera mobiles made?
Our wooden flying mobiles are handcrafted and hand-painted by artisans in Colombia, then carefully prepared and shipped to customers throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.
Where can I display a flying mobile?
They can be displayed in nurseries, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, studios, and other indoor spaces. Place the mobile where it has room to move freely without touching nearby walls or furniture.
Are the mobiles suitable for a nursery?
Our mobiles make beautiful nursery décor when securely installed and kept out of a child's reach. They are decorative pieces rather than toys and should not be placed directly above a crib where a child could reach them.
